In the interest of getting this moving again...
Everyone finds some random thing to do during their free day in Tarsis. Nym and Darvin were planning on spending a romantic day together. This was interrupted by the sword who spent most of the morning badgering him about a growing evil. With a heavy sigh he searched it out and discovered that a local priest had been possessed by a minor ifrit that had been intent on raising a demon.
No one was sure what Grumbleshanks did and he did not volunteer any information.
Violet and Aranel wound up spending the day parusing the local museums and noble shops.
The next morning Ascadan took them to the harbor loaded them on the ship and waved goodbye. It took a few days, but the captain of the vessel finally tracked down the Lady Narath.
From afar the ship looked like it was in good condition, but when Captain Darvin arrived on the ship he could tell that it had been through a few rough patches in the last couple of days. The sails had tears in them and the crew looked haunted.
