Johnny, Tell 'Em What They've Won Behind Door Number 2!

Grumbleshanks quickly yanked the door open, and found himself looking into a dark room. Apparently the room he'd found had no windows. He could see about 10 feet into the room with the light from the room behind him, and from what he saw, it looked like there was a large table about 5 feet from the door, and the corner of the table he could see had a very wide array of weapons, all of which were slightly more shiny than normal. The wall next to him was covered, as well, with pegs holding weapons of every shape and size.

Grumbleshanks identified short swords, rapiers, bags with bullets, axes, battleaxes, warhammers, longswords, bastard swords, maces, light maces, and a scythe from where he was standing.

  1. If those are silver weapons someone is spending an amazing amount of time shining them up so that they don't get tarnished.

  2. Or else they're newly created, or else they're not silver, or else they have a magical spell over the room to keep them all shiny, or else it's just the lighting that is making them so shiny. :D

Grumbleshanks, give me a Spellcraft check, please. :D

  3. I hope someone isn't casting a spell on them to keep them shiny. One of the joys of silver is polishing it... for long periods of time... while cursing your mother for buying so much silver.

  4. I look closely at the weapons. Are they silver? Do I see a spear or dagger?

  5. They definitely have an alchemical silver coating applied to them. You think you see a small stack of spears standing next to the wall on your left at the far edge of the light coming from the room behind you and you see some daggers on a small weapon rack underneath the table.

  6. Anything stand out?

If not, I walk out and set the door ajar as I found it (not because I know he's there, but because I'm not a thief.)

  7. Not really. They all look to be pretty basic weapons. Nice to have if you need a silver weapon, but they don't look especially noteworthy.
