I'm wandering away

"Thank you very much Hring, I am off to do that while the others fulfill their important tasks. It appears I am a little redundant right now. If you perchance point me towards some of the major temples, or a temple district if there is one here, that would be wonderful."

Hring pointed out several of the major temples in the area, and Beranhond headed out to try to gather more information. He wandered for

 hours, gathering the following information:
  • There have been no battles near Baldur's Gate.
  • One cleric believed that Waterdeep was becoming dangerous, and that the followers of Lathander were getting ready to do something about it.
  • Another told Beranhond they believed that Neverwinter was being attacked by nature itself somehow, because of the problems they were having with wild animals and shortages of grain.
    • The people of Neverwinter had begun to fight back, and the paladins and clerics in the city were leading the fight.
  • Finally, it was said that one of the water deities must be getting prepared for something, because several ships bearing seals of Lathander, Helm, Torm, and Tyr had been capsized by storms that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

  1. I would prefer to do this in a rather quick and dirty fashion, actually, if you don't mind. Could you just give me a diplomacy roll (Diplomacy can be used to gather information) and about how long you're looking to gather information, I can give you a summary. If you'd prefer to go place by place, we can do that, if just means a lot of work to come up with new NPC's for each place.
