Well, this is interesting...

Beranhond had just finished explaining that the box found mixed in with the shit in the sewers was magical and very useful. Well, that seems like good news. What, with Talathel and mine luck on adventures together I was sure we had brought home a nasty cursed item, Darvin thought to himself. At about the time he was finishing that thought, the half-elf noticed a peculiar aroma. It was like nothing he had ever smelled before. It wasn't a good smell either. Honestly, it smelled similar to some of Thorn's cooking when they were out fishing. He decided to go see what was going on.

As he entered the hallway, he noticed the fumes were coming from the room they had all met in. He also noticed the door to the outside was open. Darvin proceeded down the hallway to the meeting room and pushed the door open. When he did the smell hit him like a ton of bricks. He quickly scanned the room for its source and saw a pot with some charred remains. Next to the pot was the pretty elven maid and laying on the floor was Gurkirat. Passed out. Now either the gnome has a way with the ladies or the poor fellow let this smell get to him. Darvin decided it had to be the latter because there was no way the maid would pass up a mighty pirate for a gnome. "It looks like our friend failed this alchemy experiment. I'll go get the others." Darvin said with a wink to the maid.

He left the room and returned to Talathel, Beranhond and Hring. "Um, H-Ring, I thought you'd like to know that the gnome set something on fire and passed out in the banquet hall. Also, a chair seems to be missing." And with that the 4 of them headed for the source of the smoke.
