After Darvin's directions, Grumbleshanks studied the map. Noticing the winding passages and side-passages, he asked "The first manhole to the NE? I don't like it. We'll be more exposed than a stripper in a crow's nest. We'll drop down the second. Also, do we have time to drop piles of lumber down some of the other manholes to channel the rat's movements? Also, do we still have any of that oil?" Before he lost his chance, Grumbleshanks beckoned to one of the tougher goons and two cronies carrying large shields. He asked, "You strapping lads care to join Hring and I?" Then he turned to Hring, "Who's going to man the helm?"
Dan, is there any plant matter down there with which I can entangle? With that in mind, is it too late to change my spells?
There is plant matter in the form of a lot of moss and such, and it is not too late to change your spells. It's the morning, so it is perfectly reasonable to say that you prayed for different spells this morning.
