When they pulled the cloak down Beranhond was stunned to see the Lathander priest that he had knocked out.
Something dark is going on here, Lathander is a silly God, but he isn't an evil one... Beranhond was lost in thought and ignored the loot on the two men. As they got out of the tunnel he quickly talked to Hring, said goodybe to the others and set off towards the temple of Lathander.
I think I need some more information...
"Well, that was interesting."
"Was it? I thought it was very informative." The Tsunami, the lathander clothes, the undead, the knocked out priest... something much bigger than were-rats was going in this town. Tigrisclawu didn't say anything more, he just purred.
Your search of the temple reveals the lingering remnants of a number of very powerful spells. They all have the feeling of divine magic, and after a bit more inspection, you are able to discern that a large number of earthquakes were cast at this location. It appears that this may have been the epicenter of the quake, and perhaps it was not a natural earthquake.
ReplyDeleteCan I tell anything about the divine magic, maybe particular gods?
ReplyDeleteYou can't tell what gods might have granted the spells used to attack the city, but you can tell that there were 6-10 rather powerful spellcasters working together to create the catastrophe.
