There were a few ladies from his performances around the area that might be convinced, but that sounded like work and upkeep, which were two words he hated.
So he ventured to the docks and boarded the sea star .. *ahem* The Lady Narath. There was a bustle of work on the deck and he heard his mates claiming their rooms aboard the ship. Gurkirat was thinking it would be nice to be outdoors, so he climbed up to the crows nest and placed his things neatly, leaving room for a small bed. (I hope this vessel has a crow's nest ...)
As he clambered down he heard mention of a supposed ban on booze and profanity. 'F-That,' he thought, so he left to gather a few more things from the town.
Ah, the swearing and drinking ban only applies to the NPC's hired. Naturally, everyone else can drink to their hearts content.
ReplyDeleteTalathel, looks bemused at Gukirat. "I do believe I am standing here."
ReplyDeleteWait, You are in the crows nest? Or you mean you are going to drink and swear.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the chances. At 4:14, we both were in the crows nest. How good of a climber are you? Wanna roll for it?
ReplyDelete(I'm still level 3. I won't dump a ton of points in to win this little challenge.)
Climb: 1d20+0
20!
Beat that, bizzle ... assuming you agree to this challenge.
I have +6 to climbing.
ReplyDeleteRoll(1d20)+6:
15,+6
Total:21
Noooo! I'm gonna have to find another place to perch. Is there anyone in the bow? Or am I relegated to the very bottom with the rats?
ReplyDeleteLook at the map, you fool! There are plenty of private rooms left!
ReplyDeleteWell ... that wasn't posted when I complained, in my defense. I'll find something I reckon.
ReplyDeleteWell, this changes everything... I guess. Beranhond reluctantly takes one of the smaller cabins. One of the number 10s.
ReplyDeleteNear the office (11).
ReplyDeleteOr he will use a cot in the office - in case anyone else wants a cabin.
