The Constant Gardener

The three of them made their way back to the temple district and to the gardener where the priest was weeding away.
"I was hoping to ask you for a favor. As you know I am always looking for new information, and I suspect that there is some to be had with the Druids at Goldenfields. Alas, as there have been some disturbances in the region, and that I have not been there before, I was hoping to find some Paladins or Temple warriors to accompany and show me the way. However, as I have little pull in this city I was hoping you would be willing to assist me in finding some volunteers. I also do not have any mounts, so perhaps as a joint expedition we could borrow some mounts from the temple."

"Of course Beranhond, I would be glad to help. We have been very concerned about learning about the situation over there so I am sure that the temple could loan some mounts and that one or two Paladins would be willing to accompany you. Of course... I have to finish the weeding first."
Beranhond internally grimmaced. He hated weeding.
"Why don't you let us take over the weeding while you talk to the temple staff. It is the least we can do."
The priest smiled, handed the trowel to him, and left the garden. Tigrisclawu found some nice dirt to sit on and took a nap.

  1. If Tigrisclawu was like my cats, there would be no searching for "Nice" dirt. They would either lie in whatever pile of dirt they found first, or climb onto whatever fence there was and hang out there, watching over everything. :D

  2. King Arty is fairly picky - he has his favorite spots. Lately he has taken over miranda's office chair and has been napping there while I write at my computer.

    It is ridiculously cute.

  3. After about 40 minutes, the priest returns with 4 men and a woman all in full armor. One of the men wore the colors of Torm, but the rest were warriors of Lathander. "These 5 volunteered to aid you in your search. I have also arranged for a horse for you from our stables. Godspeed, my friend."
