I would like to talk to people around the Moor Gate, the Golden Oak and the Hammer and the Helm. I think that with that being the part of the city Nym would come to, then that's our best chance of finding someone with info.
ReplyDeleteI ask people if they've seen Nym, giving the same description I've gave in the last post. For people who feel they may have talked to her (if there are any), I add that she's very excitable and can be quite talkative.
Alright. Is Darvin searching as well? Are you searching together? I need a diplomacy roll for each person that is gathering information.

Talathel, why do you say that the Moorgate, the Golden Oak and the Hammer and the Helm are the part of the city Nym would go to? Just wondering at your logic.
ReplyDeleteSince those areas are around the western gate of the city, and we (and she) came from the west, I figure that that would be a good place to start.
ReplyDeleteYou're coming from the southwest, at the Sundabar Gate. That's where the road from Everlund enters the city. Would you like to revise where you want to search?

ReplyDeleteAnyways. Yes, obviously, revising the search area would be most prudent. I'd like to talk to people around the Sundabar Gate, The Star Court, and The Map House. I figure Darvin will take the market.
Results of Darvin and Talathel's Search:
ReplyDeleteYou are unable to find anyone who says they have actually seen Nym, but each of you are able to independently find friendly people that on description of Nym ask some questions and find out that Nym has some magical abilities, and recommend that you check out the wizarding schools in the southern part of the city, below the Moon Bridge. Talathel also finds a man with greased, slicked back hair wearing a black satin cloak who offers to scry Nym, allowing Talathel to see and hear her for 150 gp/minute.
I take note of the man, but decline his services at this time. I head down towards the wizarding schools, all the while half expecting to hear something along the lines of "Talathel, what are you doing here? Are you enjoying Silverymoon? You should go to the market! When I was a little girl, I'd go to the market every week! There was so much to do and eat! My favorite was the..."
ReplyDeleteDarkness has fallen by the time you get done with the initial questioning, and there are getting to be fewer people out. By the time you get down to the area of the Lady's College and Arkhen's Invocatorium, which were described to you, it is around 9:30 PM.
