Silverymoon, Pride of the Silver Marches

Darvin nodded to Talathel as the elf told him where he was going to look for Nym.

"Let's both head to the Hammer and Helm and get us rooms for the night. After that we can split up and ask around." Darvin said. Talathel agreed to go along with Darvin and the friends approached the inn. After they had checked in Darvin told Talathel and Thjodolf that he would meet them back at the inn in 3 hours. He figured that would give them enough time to gather some information that they could explore more thoroughly tomorrow.

Darvin walked outside in the cool evening air. It was a warm night and it felt good to be outside with his thoughts. He really had no idea where to start looking for this girl...this girl who had made him absolutely insane. When it came to Nym, Darvin was completely irrational. He thought back on all the crazy things he had done that were a result of him meeting her. He murdered the entire crew of the ship he was currently captain of, he jumped into a river in the middle of battle and most recently, he had gone galavanting off with his hedonistic friend and a half-orc to save a girl who in all honesty, probably didn't need saving. Darvin shook his head and sighed to himself. Love apparently makes people do silly and irrational things... Darvin stopped in his tracks, the rest of the crew probably had known for some time but it had never clicked for the half-elf, "Holy shit...I'm in love. Oh fuckstockings." Said Darvin to no one in particular.

  1. Actually, Talathel and Darvin, I need to put the brakes on the information gathering for a short bit until I can get Nym a bit more caught up, so I know what info to give you. Sorry. Go to the inn for now, and I will give you info as soon as I have it.

  2. Talathel and Darvin's info Search results:
After searching for about 2 1/2 hours, the two both return to the inn where they had found rooms for the night to talk about their findings. Both Talathel and Darvin had found several people who seemed friendly and after talking a bit had found out about Nym's magical abilities, and recommended that the two of them investigate the schools of magic in across the Moon Bridge, in the southern part of the city. Talathel also met a man with greased hair that was slicked back, with a large circular tattoo around one eye and wearing a large satiny black cloak who had offered to scry her for him, allowing him to see and hear her for only 150 gp/minute.

  3. After they finished their discussion on their findings, Darvin got up from the table. "We should go to the magic schools tomorrow. I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that she may not have arrived yet. Good night." And with that Darvin headed upstairs and crawled into bed. He laid there and worried about Nym. If he had indeed beat her there, it troubled him that he had not past her on the road. Eventually he drifted off to a fitful sleep.

  4. Talathel:
I'm sorry. I double posted. I forgot where in the world I had posted, and since I couldn't find the original, I assumed I hadn't actually posted and posted it again. Based on the fact that you two (Darvin and Talathel) were sharing the info at a table, do you still want to head down to the magic schools tonight, as you had posted earlier tonight? Sorry, again.

  5. I doubt we'd find anything in the evening. Talathel looks around the inn, looking for someone he can maybe mooch rum off of. Seeing none, he goes to bed as well.

  6. Could I have a diplomacy roll as you try to convince hapless regulars to buy you a drink?

  7. Talathel didn't see anyone he felt he could wrestle a drink from, so he went to bed instead. A sober elf is a...well, probably irritable one.
