The Inn 2

After a few moments a note is slid underneath the door of room 12. It is addressed to Talathel.

  1. Talathel reaches down and picks it up.

"If this is from the Professor, he's faster than I had imagined."

  2. As you open you see silvery script.

Talathel, if you do not have any plans tonight you and your friends are welcome to join me and several of my friends at the local pub.

    Yours,
    Miss Stake

  3. Talathel re-rolled the scroll.

"How are you feeling, Darvin? Are your wounds healing?"

  4. "I am feeling better. Things are a little sore. And Nym put me on bed rest before she left. But hopefully I will be better in the morning." Darvin said in response to Talathel.

  5. "That's good to hear," Talathel said. "The hostess of the inn has invited us out to the pub this evening, but I think it best that we have a meeting with all of Killink before we proceed. Where is Nym, and when will she return?"

  6. Since I'm going to bed and you guys can proceed a bit, Talathel will explain to Thakalakan what Killink is, since he's probably about to say something like "Kilink a dink? What do you think? I know not that that is a rink." Or something of that nature.

  7. On hearing Kilink mentioned, Druuv stood up and shouted "Kilink!" at the top of her lungs while holding a fist out in front of her. She puts the fist down very quickly afterwards.

As Darvin and Talathel both look at her oddly, she says, "What? It's a customary warcry and drinking cheer with my people. Are you preparing for war?"

  8. Alright, so you three are now about 14 hours behind Nym and Talathel and Druuv have a very interesting night ahead of them (possibly).

  9. At what point am I at? I think it can be safely assumed that no matter what happened the night before, Darvin never left the bed. So, am I caught up with Nym or am I still answering Druuv's silly questions? Also, I am slightly miffed my monkey left me.

  10. Um... you do have final control over your monkey, so you can have it return anytime you want. Darvin is currently split in time with the conversation that is occurs before Talathel's arrival and with the event with Nym. The prior needs to be resolved so post up to both to finish off the earlier scene.

  11. "Um...Kilink is the name of our adventuring band. Previous to that we were known as the "Heroes of the Sewer" which just didn't seem very pleasant. Talathel, I'm not sure when Nym will be back, she said she had some errands to do for the apothecary. You may try looking for her there." Darvin said to his companions.

  12. "Well, if she's not here, can I stand in?" Druuv asked. "You said your group is called Kilink? Does that have any relation to Link? My cousins, the moblins, have a powerful enemy they call Link. We, the arctic goblins have pledged ourselves to help them in any way we can. Being peaceful people, that really means that if we see Link, we tell the moblins, but we share a kinship with them because of it. If you would let me, I would like to be a member of Kilink as well!"

  13. I remember when we first started and you were afraid this would just become a Legend of Neil parody/tribute. I guess we're all in now, lets find some faries tonight and get "healed". Healed sexually.
