Hi folks, in order to bring everyone up to date to the proper time and place the next post is going to be at the starts of the Equinox Ball. If you have any else you want to care of that isn't related to the Ball, post it here and I'll take care of it will be taken care of within this post and without RP.

Otherwise the Equinox Ball will start on Thursday!

  1. I would like to meet with the Baroness and help Evelaen with the sending ritual. What I would want to do next depends on where the child is. My roll to assist or do do the ritual myself and have Evelaen assist:

    D20+15
    16+15

  2. Also, I'd like to ask the Baroness to pay us for the ritual, but only if we're successful at contacting the child. If we contact him and are able to help, the ritual fee will come out of the total reward. Market price for the ritual is 360 gold. Rolling a 30-39 allows contact up to 1,000 miles away.

  4. So, what's the dress code for this ball? Talathel has probably not so great of clothes. Do I need to rectify this? Hit some one up for a loan? Literally just thought of this.

  5. Johan wants to do whatever he needs to do to ensure the brand on his forehead gets taken care of before the ball tonight, whether that means draining a few winos for healing surges or going to talk to the local Tormish temple to get it scrubbed off. If Beranhond can see/sense it all the way through a large hat, his bangs won't be of much better help at the ball.

Also, the only clothes Johan owns are Regalia, so he's always dressed to the nines.

  6. If Talathel can find Nym, she'd lend/give him the money! She has a decent stash of personal funds.

  7. Talathel will need to be dressed well - Nym apparently can help with that.

Do vampires get drunk? Alas, there is no temple to Torm, and asking around at the few temples still in operation get most confused looks. One priest falls at his knees thinking you're revived a stigmata. Another says it should heal in a few days and before you can stop them sprinkles a bit of holy water to heal the scaring.

  8. Methinks Talathel should do a streetwise check to see if he can find Nym since she's flitting about the city willy nilly.

  9. All right, what about seeing if there's a local mage who could provide a short-term glamour or illusion for the cranial area?

Streetwise(+17): Rolled 16, so 33. I figure if there's a devoutly religious brothel in Baldur's Gate, at the very least there's also a mage who can make sure I don't go into the ball looking like Harry Potter.

Disguise Self is a 7th level power and Spectral Image is a 2nd level, so I figure getting a couple-hours-long illusion for just his forehead would fall somewhere in the middle.

  10. Easily done - it'll last for the entire party and the made didn't even ask any questions.

  11. Cool, thanks! Johan has 80gp atm; How much would the glamour cost him, and would there be any illusion-breaking stipulations? (Like don't itch the forehead, no feeding the vampire after midnight, etc)

  12. Streetwise check to find Nym:

    Roll(1d20)+5:
    17,+5
    Total:22

  13. Yes! Now you have to decide in what you are going to wear!

  14. Something like this? Or do I need to be fancier?

  15. Also, just saying, most of the elves on Deviant art are either dressed for battle or shirtless.

  16. That will work - unless you find something fancier.

  17. I think that will work.

    Let's go balling.
