Elven wavelength

Talathel watched as Darvin shouted orders at the apparently deaf crew members. He then turned his gaze to the large wave coming towards the ship.

Why were we on this ship again? Something about wanting to be a pirate. Being without gold and a good source of free rum, Talathel had hopped on board with Darvin. It was only after they left port that he realized that it had been a very long time since he had been on a ship. Not since he joined the monastery any way. He didn't exactly remember enjoying it, but the relatively calm seas had eased his mind. Perhaps the ship could take him to far off lands that did not know of The Old Order. Perhaps he could convince some of the pirates to be more lawful.

Of course, all of that would have to wait, as the wave came closer and closer to the ship. Talathel grabbed onto a rope and waited for orders.
