Battle Thalatha

Beranhond, taking his trusty black arrow, notches, and fires straight at the creatures heart.

Attack:
Roll(1d20)+0:
20,+0
Total:20 (hit, critical)

critical attack:
 Roll(1d20)+0:
16,+0
Total:16 (hit)

damage:
Roll(1d6)+1:
4,+1
Total:5x2=10

(in 4e, rolling a 20 just does maximum damage, so I corrected this).

The black arrow goes straight into the creatures body. The creatures staggers and then drops to the ground, dead.

  1. You did that correctly, actually. If you get a critical hit, you roll again to hit. If you hit the second time, it does double what you roll for damage. Well done. Is it still alive?

  2. Well done. 2 rounds of combat, and 3 good hits, and it's down. That seemed way too easy... Of course, there was a good solid critical hit in there, and two blows from cutlasses, but still.

  3. Beranhond=3 attacks (thanks to a luck dice roll)
    Darvin=2 attacks
    Hench=1

    Six attacks against a critter isn't that bad, plus, we will see what Nick's fortitude check is here soon - it might have done some serious nastiness to him.
