Beranhond, taking his trusty black arrow, notches, and fires straight at the creatures heart.
Attack:
Roll(1d20)+0:
20,+0
Total:20 (hit, critical)
critical attack:
Roll(1d20)+0:
16,+0
Total:16 (hit)
damage:
Roll(1d6)+1:
4,+1
Total:5x2=10
(in 4e, rolling a 20 just does maximum damage, so I corrected this).
The black arrow goes straight into the creatures body. The creatures staggers and then drops to the ground, dead.
You did that correctly, actually. If you get a critical hit, you roll again to hit. If you hit the second time, it does double what you roll for damage. Well done. Is it still alive?
ReplyDeleteIt is dead.
ReplyDeleteWell done. 2 rounds of combat, and 3 good hits, and it's down. That seemed way too easy... Of course, there was a good solid critical hit in there, and two blows from cutlasses, but still.
ReplyDeleteBeranhond=3 attacks (thanks to a luck dice roll)

Six attacks against a critter isn't that bad, plus, we will see what Nick's fortitude check is here soon - it might have done some serious nastiness to him.
