In order to make headway on repairs, a craft check must be made. Some of the checks you may want to make:
-  Deck and Rails - Craft: Carpentry. 
 
- Sails - Craft: Sewing. 
 
Based on your roll, different amounts of damage will be repaired.

| 2-10 | 0 hp | 
| 11-15 | 1 hp | 
| 16-20 | 2 hp | 
| 21- | 3 hp | 
 
Note that this repair rate is per person working, so if you have 2 people working for 5 hours, and you both roll 21, you get 3 hp*2*5=30 hp/hour you can repair, which is very fast.
