Slap-Happy?

The man looked thoughtful for a moment. "Impolite, eh? Well, she be th' one that caused th' tsunami. Ye be havin' me word on that? Aye, seems reason enough t' burn th' lass'. We be havin' t' appease th' gods. They struck us an' th' city down after we allowed a lass onboard. She needs t' sink t'Davy Jones' locker so th' gods can be appeased."

After Beranhond barged in with his questions, the man answered, "There be 8 that survived th' tsunami, an' we be all goin' t' grab ye an' meet th' captain at th' ship."

From beside Beranhond, Scriptus and Codex yelled, "Look out!" as a roaring yell erupted behind the group and 3 vicious looking men charged out of the crowd.

  3. Let me do a better job of describing this scene than I did at the beginning of the last battle.

As the crowd parts before them, the three men that charge in look disheveled, dirty, and tired. The first man that runs out (Thug 6) carries a club and a spiked shield, wears padded armor and grins out of the left side of his rather lopsided mouth. The next man (First Mate) runs out and stops, holding a longbow and wearing padded leather armor. He is bald, with a thin white scar tracing over his right ear and to the back of his head. The final man (Captain) is the one doing the roaring. His yelling stops as he steps out of the press of people and glares at Nym, his long black hair falling over the shoulders of his chain shirt as he bellows a curse to end Nym's existence here and now.

The crowd is still unsure what to make of this entire event. The party is being held in honor of these 5 heroes, but they have just brutally murdered 4 people, and are about to fight 3 more. The city guard mills about, uncertain as well. Nobody wants to get in the way of the heroes, but at the same time, murder is not something normally allowed in the city. Many guards simply try to blend in with the crowd and avoid doing anything, while a few remain where they were stationed, hesitant.

  4. The captain has a starknife in his hand, as well.

  5. There I go leaving out even more details.

The captain is a half-orc, the other two men are human.

  6. Wait... the crowd also saw them dragging of Nym, did they not?

  7. Yes, but the whole battle as it has happened so far has taken less than a minute, and people didn't really react fast enough to know what was happening.

  8. They wouldn't like to see Nym taken away, but they aren't really willing to stick their necks out for her, either...

I'm going to hold until something happens!

Nym's eyes widened seeing the three men approaching and ducked down for a moment before regaining her composure and cautiously standing back up. "Beranhond said I DID'T cause the tsunami!" She yelled at them, sounding frightened.

    Diplomacy for yell?

  10. The guards seem confused. Perhaps someone should invite them to fight along side the city's heroes as to facilitate the drinking of the rum.

  13. The bad guys go first! Unfortunately, I forgot to write down all of their stats, and since I don't have access to Dropbox at work, their turn will have to wait until after I get home from work. I will post as soon as I can, and you will be expected to post your first turn actions by midnight tonight.

  14. Ummm, correction to one of my earlier posts. I have been calling it a starknife, but he's really using a kukri... Sorry about that. Both are sweet, but the kukri is his weapon of choice.
