A Reunion

As Beranhond and Aelysin arrived back on the boat, Beranhond was happy to see that everyone was awake once more from their odd slumber.

Please conduct your planning and reuniting activities in the comments on this post. If you do not decide what to do by midnight on Tuesday, July 15th, it will be decided for you.

  1. Whittaker! You suck at posting for me!

Nym watched the rowboat leave and return anxiously, wondering if they'd be able to find Beranhond alive. When the boat was again in view, she was overjoyed to see the last of their rag-tag party was indeed alright.

"MAMA! I can't see!" squealed Pipper from Nym's side, so she picked him up to look out to sea. As Beranhond finally came aboard, Nym was happy to see their rag-tag group reunited and hugged him. Pipper pounced on Tigrisclawu, who did not seem to enjoy the greeting. "Tell me what's going on with the Druids," Nym said to Beranhond once everyone was finished with their greetings.

  2. Beranhond was glad to see everyone was safe. They looked a little worn out and thin, but generally in good health. He introduced Aelysin who seemed a bit overwhelmed by the crew and found a spot near Beranhond to sit down while he talked about the druids.
"Well, I will say that the druids are not the group most at fault for this. There is a man named Ishmael who has been undermining the Lathanderian priests. He is quite powerful and the Tormish Paladins and I did not fare well against him. Natually, this is what I tried to tell the one set of druids but they did not seem inclined to listen. Another group of druids rained this destruction down upon Waterdeep." He paused for breath. "It is mostly destroyed now, and I do not think there is much reason to go back and visit yet. Anyway, less dreary talk - we can deal with the druids later, how are you all feeling? Was it a dreamless sleep or something else."

  3. Talathel had climbed down from the crow's nest in time to hear Beranhond's question.

"It was very strange. It was a land of dreams. I got the sense that we were called there by a group of monks. The place was dangerous, and quite real. I, for one, am glad to be back."

The elf held out his hand to Beranhond.

"And it is very good to see you again."

  4. Beranhond took Talathel's hand and shook it.
"It is good to see you all again too. Now, I suggest we get away from this dead shoreline and decide what we want to do next. Did you spot anything up in the crow's nest? I imagine that there will be some scavengers and pirates on their way soon."

  5. The news Beranhond gave to the crew had indeed sounded ominous. "Yes, Talathel, I think it would be best if you were to resume your post. As for the general direction that we head in, Beranhond, do you have any suggestions?"
