Sword Coast Sinkings: Nym and Talathel Investigate (0)

So, before we begin this next phase, how do the two of you intend to research these sinking ships?

Are you going to travel together to try to collect information, are you going to take the Lady Narath out and try to confront whoever or whatever is sinking the ships, are you just going to each do what you think is best and meet up at the end of the day to share what you've learned, or some option I haven't mentioned here?

Please let me know what your plans are so that I may start writing up the first day of your investigation.

  1. Talathel has heard some rumors of what is going on. It may be time to try and head out and see what is going on first hand.

  2. Great. Violet will join you. She's been feeling far too much like a clerk and not enough like a true adventurer while she's been in the city.

  3. I will be putting together a map of where ships have been sunk tonight so you can have that information. Do you have any idea where you want to investigate first? You are welcome to wait for the map, but it will be coming pretty late tonight, I believe.

  4. Sorry, Ang got sick last night, and I didn't get to the map. I will tell you that generally, the ships were all sunk in the area of the Moonshae Isles, going as far north as the Whalebones and as far south as one attack near Lantan. I'll try to make a map tonight.

  5. Could we use that map to maybe find a route to the Moonshae Isles that will likely give us the least amount of trouble and see what those on the islands know?

  6. If you're just looking for a safe route, you can ask around and see which ships have safely traveled to the islands and try to follow their advice.

If you want to try to ask around the docks, give me an Insight check and either a Diplomacy, Bluff, or Intimidate check, depending on what method you would like to use to gather information.
