All I Gotta Do Is Live and Die

In the square where he was just finishing with lunch, Beranhond stood as a man approached and stood directly in front of him."Hello, prophet of an unfamiliar god. The name's Starkad, and my master's sent me to invite you to a meetin' of sorts."

"Your master?" Beranhond replied.

The man appeared to expect the question. "Yeah. He has taken an interest in you, after you healed all those people in this square. He told me to come get you as soon as you woke up."

"I've been awake for some time now. Why did you wait till now to come get me?" Beranhond asked.

The man looked a bit sheepish. "You were still asleep, so I figured it was a good enough time to go fill my belly. When I came back, you were gone... So are you coming?"

Tigrisclawu looked up at Beranhond. "Might as well, I guess."

Beranhond leaned down and grabbed his backpack, then stood back up and looked at the man. "Lead on."

  2. Nice job on the Sense Motive.

He seems to be generally very good at lying and bluffing, but he seems to be just doing his job. He doesn't seem to be particularly interested in you or whether you are coming or not, but he seems to be telling the truth. It doesn't seem like he's trying to trick you.

  3. By the way, you left a line out. It's "I'm in a hurry to get things done, oh I rush and rush until life's no fun. All I really gotta ..." you have it from there.

  4. But though you are all rushing and rushing, life is still fun. I know that I skipped a line, but it just didn't fit. I mean, can't I have a little bit of creative license. We're playing a roleplaying game here, for cripes sake!
