But I'm In a Hurry...

As Gurkirat and Grumbleshanks left the square, they were approached by a pair of men, a human and a half-orc.

"Nice job on that wererat back there," the human said.

"Thank you," replied Gurkirat. "The beast was rather quick work for two mighty heroes such as ourselves. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Gurkirat Kaleo, master orator and musician and this is Grumblesthanks, fearsome guardian of the sea."

"I'm Arngrim, and this is Thjodolf," said the human in turn. "If you're interested in killing more of those vermin, we work for a man who would like your help."

Grumbleshanks looked at Gurkirat. "This seems just a bit too easy. I'm not so sure..."

Gurkirat cut him off, "So, Arngrim, why is your boss interested in people who kill wererats?"

Arngrim shrugged. "I dunno. Never asked, I guess. But he sure doesn't like the little guys. He's been trying to get people to help take care of the problem for months now."

Gurkirat quirked an eyebrow at Grumbleshanks, "So, is your master responsible for the silver weapons everyone seems to have? Or is just coincidence that nobody seems to know anything about wererats, yet everyone's weapons are silver?"

"Yeah, that would be 'im, alright. He started a couple smithies forging silver weapons about 4 weeks ago. That's why, eh? The beasties don't like it? Hmm. 'At's good to know."

Grumbleshanks turned to his friend and said in a whisper that the two big folk couldn't hear, "He doesn't seem too bright, but I don't think he's trying to trick us. We might as well look into it." Gurkirat nodded his agreement. Grumbleshanks turned back to the men, "Alright, we'll bite. Where to?"

Arngrim waved a hand. "Just follow us."
