The Queen is Dead...
Darvin looked disgustedly at the dead queen. He spat in her general direction. The he walked over to the body. Drew his cutlass and chopped off her head. He then reached into his pack and pulled out Ramman's head. While holding the heads he turned to Hring and said, "I believe these are for you...Now, about that party."

I like that Darvin is terribly concerned about the party when he really wants a ship and there is a pile of gold in the corner that is he is ignoring...
ReplyDeleteIts like when you're in elementary school and its the last day before break. Are you excited about break? No. But you chant "pizza party" during recess.
ReplyDeleteTalathel goes over to the pile of jewels and picks through them. He is sure they are valuable, but he does not know their worth. Having lived with the monks for many years, he never did acquire a touch for appraisal.
He picks his way through through the jewelry. He finds a scuffled ring with a green stone. It is not the most brilliant piece in the queen's collection, but the simple ring and the green stone jolt a memory.
"I'm sure we will find a way to divide this treasure in some sort of fair fashion. But I'd like to keep this ring if thats alright with you all."
Sounds good to me. Add it to your inventory. It weighs 0 lb and is worth 100 gp.

ReplyDeleteI realize that, but I figure that if I'm divvying up exactly how many of each gem there is, I should at least be able to tell you how much a ring is worth. 100 gp isn't that much for jewelry.
