Staring at the Ceiling...

After a few hours of staring up at the ceiling thinking about how dumb he must have looked and how inappropriate he was, Darvin finally got up. The sun had gone down, and Darvin was pretty sure that his companions had left to go find something to do, which was fine with him because he was in no mood for people. He walked downstairs and left the inn. He had no plan as to where he was going, but he knew that staying in his room wasn't productive and if nothing else he could get some fresh air.

No matter how hard he tried, Darvin couldn't get Nym out of his head. He wanted to see her, to talk to her, to explain that even though he was an idiot, he still meant everything that he said. He had no idea how he was going to say any of this but he still wanted the chance. He walked along until he came to the wharf on the river. He stared at the moonlight reflecting on the water and realized how much he missed the ship. It was time to go back. Darvin sat on the pier thinking about the woman he loved and the ship he left.

  1. And now, whenever you decide to head back, the rest of the group is partying at the tavern you are staying at.

  2. After some time, Darvin got up and walked back to his room at the inn. He was wondering where his friends had gone and he hoped that they would be ready to leave town in the morning. He walked by a rowdy bar called the Dancing Goat and when he glanced inside, he thought he saw Talathel dancing on a table. Darvin smiled to himself and walked on towards the Stagstand for the night.
