In honor of the stupid holiday known as Valentine's day I am offering chance to win a hero point. To win this hero point, I am looking for the most humorous commentary on the the most "romantic" or "sexual" post." Provide the title of the post, the date, and your humorous commentary on the "romantic" situation in a comment to this post.
Also, in other house keeping business... because we are adding a few players, I am going to be resetting everyone's hero points back to 5. Also, you probably have a fair amount of gold sitting around due to all the leveling up, so make sure that in the next few weeks you have upgraded your equipment (if you so desire.)

You certainly have fair points. However, there are actually rules that limit hero points. The pathfinder rules actually limit characters to 3 hero points at any times:

Maximum Hero Points: Characters can have no more than 3 hero points at any one time. Excess hero points are lost.
I agree with this limit and so we are returning to this. Dan decided not to, but I am not Dan. I and am being generous and granting an additional 2 to everybody. I suppose, if it would make you feel better, that returning players can have 5 and new players can have 3.
However, this is isn't entirely and issue of "fairness," it is also an issue of balance. Hero points are not "toys" they drastically alter the powers and structures of the game.
Further, this shift is also because I have been handling hero points differently than Dan had. In place of hero points I have also done other thing such as boost ability scores and provide free items (some which are forthcoming).
I also think I forgot to write up the most humorous romantic/sexual post. Is that offer still on the table?

ReplyDelete3) He/She/It could join in, which is extremely creepy but could lead to some rather fun complications down the road. But, its creepy. Also, this is kind of a tender sexin' going on, so not even Darvin would be up for it. And that's saying something.
I would like to submit anything that Dan said that was meant to be completely normal and harmless but was easily construed into something overtly sexual and creepy. So, I guess I am submitting Violet's entire conversation with Lanarra.
